SYNOPSIS

After a visit to a disco, 17-year-old Finn is hit by aspiring judge Maxim Vollert. He leaves the apparently uninjured boy behind. But the boy has internal injuries and dies. Finn’s brother Mike blames himself heavily for letting the drunken Finn walk home alone. At Finn’s grave, he meets Sylvie Vollert, who was sitting next to her husband in the car on the night of the accident. A passionate relationship develops between the two.

Very soon Mike suspects that Sylvie was involved in his brother’s death. Mike tells his parents about the growing suspicion against the Vollerts. When his mother also learns of the liaison between Mike and Sylvie, a world collapses for her. Sylvie confesses the truth to Mike and wants to leave her husband out of love for him. However, she is not willing to testify against Maxim in court in order not to jeopardize his career and to protect herself from criminal consequences. Mike, confronted with the misfortune of his parents and driven by his own conscience, wants to ensure justice…
