SYNOPSIS

Elisabeth, Molly and Maria are three friends who couldn’t be more different: The elegant Elisabeth, well married for years to the much older Charles, is the prototype of the perfect power woman – until her orderly life is thrown off track by the charismatic womanizer Vince. Lovely and homely Molly, a housewife and mother of three, is thoroughly fed up with her unfaithful and vulgar husband. Maria, who comes from a small background, has always known how to use her erotic charisma profitably, but her third marriage proves to be a trap. Should she abscond, she will be left with nothing, according to the marriage contract. What they all have in common is the urgent desire to free themselves. But “divorce is disgusting,” says Molly, and so they opt for widowhood.
