SYNOPSIS

Carolin Merz, a psychologist, travels to Ireland to do her brother a big favor: she is supposed to find out what happened to the German bestselling author Robert Seefeld. He has retreated into his lighthouse for a year and has broken off all contact with the outside world. He has not written a single line. Carolin finds out that Seefeld lost the love of his life in a tragic accident and has since lost all hope of living. Both fall in love with each other and Carolin inspires Robert to write again. The latter, however, is afraid of betraying his great love if he gets involved in his new feelings – when he finds out what Carolin is really in Ireland for, the new happiness seems to be lost forever…
