SYNOPSIS

During a robbery of a supermarket with hostage-taking, the young patrolwoman Susi Maßmann confronts the perpetrator, but fails to take him out with a well-aimed fatal shot. As a result, her colleague is shot by the fleeing perpetrator.

Among her colleagues, Susi is blamed for the death of her patrol partner and is mobbed. Lena Fauch tries to stand by the young policewoman and points to the natural human inhibition to kill. Susi Maßmann doesn’t want to know anything about it, she claims that she couldn’t shoot because the hostage intentionally stepped into her line of fire to protect the perpetrator. A red herring or a hot lead?
