SYNOPSIS
Everyone around Bella has big dreams! Especially Martin, who is even really grateful to Bella for her wise saying “back is the wrong direction”. Only Bella, she has no dream of her own, no plan or vision – in the first part, “Bella Vita”, she has indeed decided what she doesn’t want and followed through with it, but what the hell does she actually want? What is her dream in the middle of life? She only really realizes this question when Lena confronts her at her graduation party with her plan to accept an au pair position in Australia. Bella panics and hastily decides to apply for an Australian working visa so she can accompany Lena. After all, Lena is only seventeen, or Bella only 44, too young to stand on her own two feet!
Bella’s friends try to gently talk her out of this strange dream, because what works and what doesn’t in the middle of life is the big question! But Bella discovers that physiotherapists are on the Australian Department of Immigration’s “SOL” (“Special Occupation List”) and feels empowered: Because Bella is a trained physiotherapist. Without any current professional experience, but with all the greater enthusiasm. But the path to the other side of the world only goes past Margot Weller from the Australian Embassy. And for her it’s a mission not to let any would-be Australia dreamers into the country…
