SYNOPSIS
Starnberg. Faceless little town, amazing lake. Highest millionaire density in Bavaria. An idyll with fangs. This is where police trainee Ariane (Annina Hellenthal) from Dortmund ends up. The local mentality couldn’t be more foreign to her, which is why Inspector Lu (Andreas Giebel) takes her all the more resolutely under his wing. Her first cases are typical and strange at the same time: The Kini is found dead in the lake – again. A revenant of the fairytale king Ludwig II, unidentifiable. Suicide or murder?
