Synopsis
Easy come, easy go… No sooner does Fanny start spending the money from her inheritance with full hands than a letter from the tax office flutters into her newly inherited house. A horrendous inheritance tax is due.
Fanny has two options: Pay it or prove that she is Jeromin’s daughter. And what does Fanny do? She simply pushes all her problems aside and prefers to meddle in other people’s affairs. So she gets caught between the fronts of two parties to the inheritance and sides – by not entirely legal means – with Kurt Basinski, who is fighting for the inheritance of his deceased great love.
Suddenly, after a night of drinking, Fanny’s conscience comes out against Elias, whom she has hurriedly shunted off to a nursing home. She realizes that neither her charm nor her repression mechanisms help when it comes to her own personal problems and decisions.
