SYNOPSIS

Desperate parents turn to private detective HARTWIG SEELER. Their daughter has disappeared without a trace, they just don’t know what to do and fear that the girl has been the victim of an act of violence. Seeler takes on the case and, in the course of his investigations, discovers that the cheerful picture of the young woman drawn by her parents is becoming increasingly cracked. Perhaps the daughter was unhappy to death and suicide cannot be ruled out.

Seeler investigates and it looks as if the young woman has fallen into the trap of a cult, but soon it becomes apparent that the truth has much more than one face.
