SYNOPSIS
The young IT specialist Lukas Keller (Caspar Schuchmann) is brutally murdered near his sports club without any apparent motive. At his workplace, a Nuremberg freight forwarding company, Lukas was held in high esteem. His boss Weinhardt (Götz Otto) had big plans for him. For Lukas’ parents, a world is shattered. They investigate on their own, while Lukas’ new girlfriend, Mia Bannert (Julie Engelbrecht), single mother of a young daughter (Lilo Scharf), seems to be keeping a secret. She is scared to death. But why? The traces of the crime remind Voss (Fabian Hinrichs) and Ringelhahn (Dagmar Manzel) of an unsolved crime. But what does the murder of Lukas Keller have to do with the case six months earlier, in which a homeless man (Ralf Bauer) now comes under suspicion as a result of the new investigation? Ringelhahn and Voss circle around two cases at the same time and have to keep an eye on Lukas’ desperate parents (Valentina Sauca, Karl Markovics).
