SYNOPSIS

Private detective Hartwig Seeler is supposed to find a missing person. The assignment takes him to Mani in Greece. This awakens special feelings in him, because years ago he spent the best time of his life there with his wife, who has since died. He follows the tracks of his client, which, however, do not lead him to the person he is looking for, but further and further into his own past. When a car accident reveals that his brakes have been tampered with, it becomes clear that someone is threatening Seeler’s life. His only lead is the woman with whom the missing man was supposedly last together. The two become closer, but suddenly the woman has disappeared and Seeler is painfully confronted with the unsolved mystery of his wife’s death and lured into a life-threatening trap.
